CoolEmoticon said the following:

Napoleon had left his home, and began making his way towards the alleyway in which the Shepherd had met the beautiful husky, Maroon. He had made a promise to meet her today, and he intended to keep it. He was a dog of his word, after all! Not to mention... he wanted to meet her again. She wasn't just a beauty - whom he wouldn't mind staring at all day - but she was also fun to converse with! He loved discussing things with her so much, as she saw things similar to himself.

The German began to think about all the dogs he had the pleasure of meeting in this town... Especially Aslan and Marcy. Aslan was a marvelous friend to him, and even though the two only met once, he felt closer to the stray than he had any other! As for Marcy... The beautiful, shy, clumsy Coydog who had stole his breathe away every time he saw her... He sighed; he wished to speak to her, ask her to become his, so he could make sure she stays out of trouble... But she was fragile, and he didn't want to break her. The purebred shook the thought from his head. Now is not the time to be thinking about Marcy! Now is the time to meet up with Maroon, the dog who should be the center of attention right now.

Napoleon was snapped out of his thoughts when he finally entered the alley, and spotted the sleek, beautiful Siberian. He approached with grace, a smile upon his face as if to charm the fellow purebred. It seemed to be a thing of theirs; harmless flirting. But what was this?... She seemed... distressed. Her fur was disarray, a frown upon her face, and her eyes glassed over in fear. Napoleon's smile turned to a frown, a worried look replacing his happiness. "Maroon?" He spoke softky, bringing attention to his presence as to not frighten his companion.

Rouge1334 said the following:

This is bad. This is really bad. This is really, really, REALLY bad. Maroon's conscience went on and on about how bad the situation. Like she didn't need enough worry a bunch of guys kept hitting on her, she was reserved after all. Reserved for a special future someone who wasn't just looking for a dry hump.

So when Napoleon came rounding the corner and called her name Maroon head snapped to him and snarled "WHAT?!" It wasn't until she recognized her friend that she saw her mistake. "Napoleon! Oh i'm so sorry it's been kinda a rough day," the husky admitted.

Her head plopped back down on her paws, like a dead fish flopping onto the icy ground. She let out a sigh, looking past the rowdy crowd towards the bustling streets of the humble town. Although through the eyes of a canine like herself, things weren't always so humble about the streets.

A few dogs around the ally way didn't veer their gaze from Maroon for a second. She gave an annoyed growl before spatting from over the crowd "I don't need baby sitters thanks!"

Maroon was obviously not having as great if a day that her and Napoleon met. She needed cheering up, even if she wouldn't admit it herself she seriously needed it.

CoolEmoticon said the following:

The shepherd flinched at the loud, angry bark from the husky, but settled down once she realized it was him, and not another. He gave the female a gentle, reassuring smile before plopping down beside her. "frauline Maroon, are you ok?" The German asked, concerned. He place a paw on top of one of hers as a way of comfort.

It angered Napoleon - truth be told - to know that some dog did this to the usually confident, and well handled Siberian. His eyes glazed over in frustration, and vengeance. If anyone hurt Maroon, there will be hell to pay, he swore to it.

As the husky yelled into the crowd, Napoleon's gaze veered to the various eyes all trained on the female. Now Napoleon could see why Maroon was out of her comfort zone... He pondered for a second before snuggling closer to the female, and licking her ear gently, before glaring out at the canines who continued to stare. "Are they making you uncomfortable? I can chase them off if that'll ease your tension," the shepherd offered.

Rouge1334 said the following:

Maroon felt the soft lick of Napoleon's tongue against her crimson ear. He always new how to comfort her, it was like he could read her mind almost. The alabaster canine snuggled closer to Napoleon. "I think having a few eyes off my pelt would be very nice actually." Maroon sighed before resting her head on her paws once more.

Her tail bounced as she flicked the end of it, her gaze occupied by Napoleon's figure. Had he gotten more handsome, Maroon mused to herself before quickly dismissing the thoughts. Did Maroon have feelings for the German Shepherd, obviously.

But she had seen him with the other coydog, Marcy was it? Never mind that, the feelings she had for him weren't the same feelings he had for her, or at least that's what she thinks. So for now she kept this to herself.

CoolEmoticon said the following:

The larger male gave a quick nod before standing to his feet, approaching each and every canine that had their eyes glued to the female, chasing them off with a simple raise of his lips. Once the job was done, he returned to Maroon with a smirk upon his face. "You won't be needing to worry about those dogs anymore, miss Maroon," he stated while laying back in his previously claimed spot next to the husky.

"Either way, did anything interesting happen from when we last met? I'm interested in hearing more about you," the shepherd asked, breaking the silence. He had, indeed, felt fairly close to the Siberian, and even found her to be to his liking in a physical sense.

Then he thought about Marcy... Oh, Marcy... He knew she felt the same for him as he did her. He felt like asking her to be his, eventually, but he will wait. There was no need to rush things! He purged his thoughts on the husky for another time, his focus back on his companion.

Rouge1334 said the following:

Maroon's blue gaze followed the German Shepherd as he dismissed each and every thug with just a growl. He didn't even say a word to any of them from where Maroon could see, she was fairly impressed.

Maroon hand't yet had the honor, and the pleasure, to see Napoleon's fighting skills. Neither had he, from what she had known at least. All he had seen was her snapping at drunk brutes and that bunch of bloody pups a while back.

Once Napoleon had returned she snuggled up next to him, resting her head against his neck. "Thanks Napoleon that really helps," she purred. "So anyways, how has your day been so far?" Maroon asked, intending on getting her mind off of things.

CoolEmoticon said the following:

Napoleon frowned lightly as Maroon evaded his question, but shrugged and continued on. "Well, now that I'm with you, it's better. I haven't really been up to much today..." besides thinking of Marcy, the shepherd excluded from his response, knowing the female would be less than delighted to hear of his infatuation with another.

It was more than likely that Maroon had already heard of Marcy and his little tryst, as she was one to definitely get around, and hear about the up-to-date news on practically everything. She impressed him greatly with that aspect of hers!

"What would you like to do today, miss Maroon? Besides sitting here, I could think of many other things we could be doing," the German stated. "Such as getting away from this cluster of drunks and whores, and exploring more of the town..." Napoleon finished with a look of disgust etched into his features. He wished to get to know Maroon better, and not around a bunch if drunk, horny mutts.

Rouge1334 said the following:

Maroon had evaded his first question for a reason, she didn't want him getting mixed up with her work. Especially today, even after today she usually separates her work from play. She does this to make sure no one gets hurt because of her business, that's a burden she couldn't live with.

After Napoleon finished his briefing of his day, she could tell that he added something silently. He dozed off slightly, almost as if he were day dreaming, after he finished. What, or who, was he so interested on that he couldn't stop thinking about? Maroon dismissed this swiftly, it was none of her business anyways. And rarely did she ever dismiss something as not her business, especially when everyone's business is her business.

"Same here really, haven't done much today either," she lied. Maroon was actually quite busy today, and not the good kind of busy.

"Yea, I could use a bit of space between me and this place." Maroon admitted. "How about just a walk around town?" She suggested. Maroon wasn't the best at selecting activities or venues for that matter, it was usually just a "go with the flow" kinda thing.

CoolEmoticon said the following:

Napoleon remained oblivious to Maroon's discomfort with his occasionally mesmerizing of Marcy. It wasn't like he wanted to hurt her; it was just that the Coydog practically haunted his thoughts on a day-to-day basis.

The shepherd silently nodded at Maroon's choice. "Your wish is my command, my lady," he replied, before hastily standing to his feet, antsy to get away from this place. He loathed all the stares heading in his and the husky's direction. He knew they were just lusting for the beauty of the two canines, but it brought him distress, nonetheless. The ones staring at Maroon brought him more disgruntlement, as he bared his fangs at those dogs, daring them to approach.

Trying to push through the sea of dogs proved tough for the two purebreds, as they tried to make their escape. Once the two made it however, Napoleon released the breathe he was holding, a sigh of relief leaving his lips. Once the two had straightened up, Napoleon broke the silence. "Your call, miss Maroon!" He waited for the female to take the lead, knowing she was more familiar with the town than he.

Rouge1334 said the following:

Maroon felt the eyes of the many yearning stares of the others. Their numbers increased as Maroon stood atop the boxes, her silhouette towered above the many. Once realizing this she hopped down, a light blush of embarassment dusting her muzzle.

Maroon hugged close to Napoleon as the two beautiful canines made their way through the crowd. She smiled up at Napoleon when he warded off the other canines, daring them to keep their stares latched onto Maroon. He was such a protector, a trait that the husky admired greatly.

When the two had finally submerged from the sea of dogs, she also let out a sigh along side Napoleon's. Giving a bit of a giggle how in sync their sighs were. Maroon then nodded at his bark as she started to trot down the road in front of him.

Her hips swayed harmoniously and her shiny coat sparkled against the winter sunshine. Her white undercoat matched the glitter of the snow as she looked back and gave a smile to Napoleon. "Thanks for....protecting me back there in the ally way." Maroon grinned.

CoolEmoticon said the following:

Napoleon simply nodded at the husky's grateful response to his act of chivalry back in the ally. "It's no problem, miss Maroon. A pretty lady like you must have protection of some kind! I'm more than glad to fill that role," he replied, his chest puffed out.

The shepherd watched the female's slender hips sway graciously as she walked. He had to bite his lip to keep from making a noise, gulping down the eager growl rising in his throat. He cleared his throat before speaking. "If you ever need any help from rogue ruffians, don't be afraid to find me. I'll put them in their place."

Why did he feel like this? He thought only Marcy, his coydog beauty could make him feel this way... He internally fought himself. He couldn't... he wouldn't do anything to hurt Marcy. He knew she felt the same way, so he would not attempt anything that may break her precious heart.

Rouge1334 said the following:

Maroon almost chuckled to see Napoleon biting his lip and clearing his throat. A small blush dusted his muzzle for a few seconds before disappearing. Well at least it looks like he likes me, she sighed internally.

Maroon turned her head back in front of her and smiled. Rogue ruffians huh, she repeated silently. Those were the least of her worries. Maroon quickly dismissed the dark thoughts from her conscience to make way for the bright ones about Napoleon and how much fun they were going to have walking around town.

Many dogs walked past them, strays and pets alike. Some coydogs, some wolfdogs, and some just dogs. Maroon had no particular opinion in wolfdogs and coydogs. Kain was a wolfdog, that spread pretty fast around town. That marcy dog was a coydog, and Napoleon's friends were her friends. She never cared about the origins of canines, it all led to what their pure values are.

Maroon's gaze snapped from Napoleon and the crowd to a glaring dog on the far side of the street. His amber gaze pierced Maroon's but she payed no attention to this getting his message. He quickly disappeared into the shadows of the ally way after flicking his ear for maroon to follow. "Dammit, already?" Maroon quietly cursed.

CoolEmoticon said the following:

Napoleon had been too caught up in his thoughts when he heard the Siberian husky curse to herself, obviously displeased. He snapped his head towards the canine staring down Maroon, and him on occasion. It was as if they were sending his companion a silent message. The shepherd's eyes narrowed in curiosity. He didn't like these turn of events.

What ever would the dog want with his friend? He wasn't sure, but he felt it couldn't be all that great, considering his partner wasn't too fond of the idea either. He didn't want Maroon to get hurt - emotionally or physically - but if she must do what she must, he wouldn't question her. She was an able female, she could very well handle herself, and the male knew that, and had full faith in her.

"Is something wrong, miss Maroon? Are you hurt?" he asked, his eyes giving her a look of worry. He pretended as if he did not notice the disruptive stranger, knowing she would more than likely not appreciate the fact he knew about her personal affairs. He respected that.

Rouge1334 said the following:

"Fine, absolutely wonderful." Maroon barked very quick to answer. She gave a nervous smile before turning back to avoid Napoleon's full contact. Well she can't exactly hide from these brutes forever now can she? But at the same time she can't take them on alone! Maroon's eyes twinkled slightly with an idea.

Maroon halted before swiftly turning and barking "I will be right back." Before adding "Don't follow me." She knew that if Napoleon were to be his self he would do the exact opposite she had just said. It's what anyone who actually cared for her would do.

After giving Napoleon one last genuine, charming, Maroon style smile she trotted off. Maroon effortlessly bobbed and weaved her way across the street, around people, and dogs, over sleds, and even under a car or two. Maroon then glanced back at Napoleon one last time before disappearing into the shady darkness of the ally way.

Four dogs all sat or paced in the ally way, one a dominant looking rottweiler with a gnarly scar leading from his eye brow and etching down to his chest. Another one a boxer who basically left a dust cloud every where he stepped, that's how dirty he was. And then the last two dogs were twin mutts who stunk so bad Maroon thought she would be better off in the sewers.

"Ahh I see you have finally arrived madame." The rottweiler attempted to charm in a very fake french accent. Maroon rolled her eyes, unimpressed by the act of lust bestowed upon by the brute.

"What do you want now, Tyrant?" Maroon snorted, eager to get to the point and get out of her as fast as she could. But she already pretty much knew what he wanted, most men were so predictable.

"I am so glad you asked madame, you see I have taken quite an interest in your beauty and I have been looking to pass of my next generation to one lucky female. If you accept my offer, I may forget about the whole dog catcher circumstance that happened a few days back." Tyrant snickered while circling Maroon.

Maroon wrinkled her nose in disgust "As if I would ever purposely submit to you sewage rat." Maroon spat. A flashback back of the events a few days back played in Maroon's head like a slide show.

Maroon had never liked Tyrant, there were talking about business only but Maroon had always known his lust for her. But once the dog catcher had cornered Maroon once again, she wasn't taking any chances. The much faster and smaller husky leaped at the first chance she could get to escape and left Tyrant in the dust. She will admit it's definitely not one of her proudest moments but she would definitely never redo the whole circumstance.

The next day word spread that Tyrant escaped but brutally injured the dog catcher, she was surprised. It wasn't unlike him to spill lots of blood on any mere sparring.

Tyrant chuckled "It's clear that you won't be changing your mind so I will be leaving you to those three. They will do as they please whether it be attack you or something much more menacing." A devilish grin emerged from his face before he trotted off from behind Maroon.

Maroon's gaze snapped from behind her to the two dogs in front of her, there was also one behind her blocking the one and only exit. "Try and touch me and I'll rip you a new one flea bags." Maroon snarled.

CoolEmoticon said the following:

Napoleon trusted Maroon, but he didn't trust the dog who had waved her over in the slightest. He sneered in disgust as the disgusting mutt left, Maroon following hesitantly. Once the beautiful husky had ducked behind an alleyway, that's when Napoleon left his spot to swiftly follow his Siberian companion.

He hid behind the brick building beside the opening to the dark, grimey ally - remaining well hidden and out of sight. He didn't want to be spotted. Not yet.

The shepherd heard the entire dispute, and his face twisted into one of disgust. How absolutely revolting! The offers one was placing onto Maroon's already confused, and troubled mind, made the golden shepherd want to make his way into the alley, and stir up some commotion between himself, and the canines who were harassing his friend. He simply would not allow it.

He flinched when a canine's rear end was poking out of the alleyway. He bared his fangs, having a good clue as to what would go down if he didn't act now. With that, he leapt, and bit down - hard - onto the black, mini tail protruding from the alley. He heard a loud yelp, and smirked before pushing his weight into the dog, causing him to tumble onto the ground. He pinned the ruthless canine onto the ground, and hovered his face over the other - an expression of pure disgust, and rage painted upon his features. He wouldn't allow this to go unpunished.

He mercilessly bit harshly into the Rottweiler's shoulder, causing blood to splay everywhere onto the ground behind the pained dog. He growled as he felt claws dig into his belly, which only caused him to bite down harder, as well as dig his claws into the beast's thick, wrecked throat.

He heard the other three brutes make their way towards him - in order to protect who - he supposed - was their boss. He felt one push him off the larger rott, and onto the ground. He quickly got up, and stood his ground however, snarling at the four canines, blood dripping from his maw. "You best hope you all leave now, before I rip into each of your filthy, flea-bitten throats," he threatened in his thick German accent! He was seeing red at this point, and wanted nothing more than to rip out the throats of every unworthy canine who stood his way.

The Rottweiler had blood pouring from his ruined throat, he whimpered with ever twist of his neck as he moved. Napoleon chuckled at the amount of damage he had caused.

He took a step towards the other dogs, and caused them to slightly flinch at the action of the former guard dog. He snickered. Weaklings like these dogs didn't deserve to live. All they did was cause suffering to those who had it better than they did. Dispicible.

"You four dickheads better leave, now, or I'll ruin every single one of your paws!" Napoleon barked harshly, causing the four shitty dogs to scurry away behind him, leaving the alleyway in a rush.

Napoleon watched them till they were out of sight, before turning back to Maroon with a gentle smile. "Are you alright?" he asked, as he slowly began to approach the female, a limp in his walk. He felt the blood drench the fur around the scars on his stomach, blood pouring liberally from his injured belly. He stumbled a few times, and began to slowly lose his vision, as he continued to lose blood. He felt another warm body beside his own before long, but was far too out of it to look up at his comforting companion.

Rouge1334 said the following:

Maroon flinched at the ear splitting yowl that flowed from Tyrant's maw. His face stained with pure agony before his figure shifted to face what had caused him so much pain. Napoleon had bit very deeply into the dog's rump, his knub of a tail engulfed within the German Shepherd's teeth.

Maroon let out a sigh of relief as Napoleon heroically wretched into Tyrant's shoulder and raked at his throat. Tyrant sputtered out orders to his minions, chocking on his own blood in the process. The dusty boxer pushed Maroon over but she wouldn't have it. Just as the boxer began to pursue Napoleon with the two other mutts Maroon bit hard into his foreleg and cocked her head to the left until her let out a howl of pain. Maroon had simply popped it out of it's socket and it was a simple fix for anyone who knew how, but it was very painful and would throw any dog out of a fight after having it done.

Maroon gazed at Napoleon with admiration as he stood his ground, his anger and bravery pouring out from each word he spat out. The mutts helped the rottweiler up while the boxer limped with three legs. They all flinched when Napoleon gave his final threat as they all stumbled away into the streets.

Maroon quickly stood to help Napoleon up, seeing the droplets of blood falling from his underbelly were clearly not from his opponent. Maroon helped support him as he leaned against her. "Thanks Napoleon, I never wanted to get you into this trouble let alone let you get this hurt! But you were brave nevertheless."

CoolEmoticon said the following:

It warned Napoleon's heart to hear Maroon's comforting words. Her voice was like silk to his mind; it was as if his ears were being rubbed on with velvet.

"Thank you. I wasn't going to let those scoundrels follow through with their corrupt actions towards you. I would rather be wounded as I am," he replied to the worried words of the beautiful husky. He managed a humorless chuckle. He gave the distraught female a reassuring smile, telling her he was fine. Little did he know, he was not - in fact - fine.

The wounded shepherd began to lose his balance, as his weak legs struggled to hold the large canine upright. "I'll be fine, miss Napoleon, it's just a scratch. I'll be fine..." Napoleon's vision began to gradually fade, black dots slowly overtaking his sight. "I-I'll be-" with that the male collapsed from blood loss, not 100% unconscious as of yet.

He could hear the worried cries of the Siberian, and he tried with all his might to open his tired eyes, and stand to his feet. But all was for naught. He felt as if he were slowly drifting off into slumber, and it was honestly inviting. He allowed sleep to embrace him, as he dozed off into a deep sleep.
